You probably already heard or knew that YouTube changed their comment system. Their new comment system were meant to prevent spamming and trolling, which have been haunting most channels in recent years.
Though it does helps to push down spamming and trolling comment, but many YouTube users seem to dislike this new commenting system. YouTube is aware about this, so they launch new update to repent their mistake.
So what’s new?
YouTube gave their user a single dashboard that can manage all of their video comment in one page. It doesn’t matter how many video they have, it can be managed easily in single page. Just go to your dashboard, then community, then comments:
In this page you will able to approve, like, remove and flag comment as spam. It is also has three main parts: Published, Pending, and Marked as Spam. This page give the users ability to manage comment easily. Youtube also will add more feature latter such as replying and expanding all reply.
As an addition on this update, YouTube also add comment setting page. It is located right under comment tab.
This page has three main features, Approved users, banned users, and blacklist. Approved users for users that always allowed to leave comment on the video, every comment from YouTube users on this list will appear automatically. If YouTube users don’t want comments from specific users they can add them on Banned users column. Blacklist column is for several words that need to be reviewed. It is very useful to prevent trolling comments.
